We at Georgia Spinal Health & Wellness understand that stress is an everyday fact of life. We believe that awareness of stress in our lives is the first step in overcoming it. The purpose of the Stress Free Day is to educate your employees on how stress can effect them mentally and physically, causing them to be less efficient in the workplace. By taking each employee through a short evaluation, our trained professionals help employees become aware of stress in their lives, and how to properly address it.
In June 2015, I developed two herniated discs that caused sciatic pain to my right lower extremity. I had three epidural injections and several months of physiological therapeutics. However, the improvement was minimal and the pain was intolerable. I heard from several friends who had the same condition who experienced siginificant recovery with traction. I researched traction machines and I was referred to the state of the art new equipment IDD in Atlanta. I had 20 sessions of traction at Georgia Spinal Health & Wellness in Atlanta. My symptoms improved dramatically.
Medicare and other insurance companies compensate for epidural injections, physiological therapeutics, back surgery. However, they do not cover traction. From my experience and other friends who mentioned traction to me as a very effective option, I believe that insurance companies should cover traction therapy. Also, it is more economical than the other options, that, epidural injections, physiological therapeutics, and back surgery.
I am willing to share my experience with anyone who is interested.
